AI Script Generation and Analysis for FileMaker

FMCopilot is an AI assistant for FileMaker developers, powered by Anthropic's Claude. You describe what you need in plain language, and it creates the script, workflow or custom function for you as native FileMaker XML, ready to paste straight into the Script Workspace.

Because FMCopilot is built specifically around FileMaker's own script steps and functions, it does not invent steps or functions that do not exist — a common problem when using general-purpose AI for FileMaker. Every result is checked through several validation layers before it reaches you, so what you paste is clean, idiomatic FileMaker rather than the generic output of a general-purpose chatbot.

FMCopilot can also review the scripts you already have. It explains what a script does and points out real problems, along with clear suggestions for improving the code.

To work with your own tables and fields, you can give FMCopilot a Save a Copy as XML export of your solution. It is parsed on your Mac, and only the resulting structure — never the export file — leaves your machine. This is optional; FMCopilot works with or without it.

FMCopilot has been localized into Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish. It is a pay-per-use product, and you receive free credits to try it before you buy.
